Bathroom remodel part 1
Well, you've waited a long time for an update to our family blog and here it is...the cave bathroom remodel project! Finally, no more brown wallpaper with pink and blue flowers! Okay, so it's not a total remodel (we have a budget to stay within) but I think we can make some improvement.

Race for the Cure
Today we did the Sally Komen Race for the Cure (breast cancer) 5k run. Here's Louis pre-race.

Jamey post-race, enjoying a banana. Also Louis and Derek chillin' after the run. Louis and Jamey stayed with a babysitter at the race while Derek and I ran, then met up with us afterwards. Louis did a kids dash later.

A Day at the Museums
Met up with friends at the Natural History museum in Raleigh. From there we went across the sidewalk to the History museum. Kids had a great time!!!
In effort to conserve resources, I took the boys via city bus to/from the museum. Needless to say, we will not be doing that again anytime soon...the trip there went fine (except for the surly bus driver). On the trip home, we missed the first bus because it went the wrong way. The second bus drove right past us waiting at the bus stop. We finally caught a different line and had to transfer buses, entailing a 30 minute wait. We met a couple of very interesting people and the boys were both quite the good sports about the whole deal (more so than I was). Next time we will drive :)
OH and Jamey turned 11 months old yesterday! Gratuitous J pic at end...
