Veggie Garden

I bought this nifty packet of seeds (big ol' mix of veggies) at Whole Foods, thinking I would just stick them in pots and if they grew, I'd figure out the next step then. I never actually expected them to grow. You see, my thumb is far from green. So, when things sprouted from the pots, I knew I had to do something. Well - Derek had to do something. He built a veggie garden for us. It is quite beautiful. I am hoping that the veggie garden gods feel sorry for me and bless us with a plethora of lovely veggies (or at least enough so we break even on the cost of making the garden).
Today, we (Louis and I - Jamey watched and ate dirt) watered the little seedlings....I am hoping I didn't kill them as they were slightly dried out looking (okay, downright dead looking). Stay tuned....

Chilly morning at a garden & Christmas Choral Concert

The problem with taking 3 months to post something to your blog is that you have no idea where you were 3 months ago. So, here's some garden we visited one very chilly morning:

In the evening we went to a Christmas Concert by the British Embassy Choir. Afterwards we got a family picture....both boys sleeping/half asleep :)
