Kelli's Birthday - Halloween Party

After a tasty brunch (courtesy Derek & Louis cooking team), we attended the Tokyo Mom's Group Halloween party. Derek won the 'Wrap the Mummy' contest! It was a wonderful birthday (I am 22 again this year!)

Halloween picnic at Shinkjuku Gyoen & Meiji Jingu Gaien

We started our Halloween with a picnic at Shinjuku with friends.

The mums were amazing!

After nap time, we played at Meiji Jingu Gaien.

Playgroup Halloween Party

I asked Louis what he wanted to be for Halloween and he said "A pumpkin with a face!" I ended up getting him a costume a little small as they didn't have his size...I thought he looked really cute and he liked wearing it. Jamey got a hand-me-down bear costume from Louis...still looking for a picture of him in it. He couldn't wear it long as he was cooking away in it!


They have a store here that sells all sorts of naughty adult costumes but I opted for a simple mask for the playgroup. I was in charge of music for the day - Jamey helped me out.

Indoor BBQ

Our playgroup had a family bbq scheduled for today but it was cancelled due to the weather. A couple of us decided to get together inside to have a little bbq as well as some cake to celebrate Pearly's 3rd birthday!



The little guy is 4 months old! No bbq yet for him...just daddy's hand!

Jamey's first trip to Showa Kinen park

We went to our favorite park in Tachikawa today. This was Jamey's first trip out there and we think he enjoyed it! I know Louis had fun.

During Louis' nap in the stroller, we played a round of disc golf. This is the first and only disc golf course we have discovered here.

Louis had fun flying a kite with Derek.
